Rondo can give u 13 a night, Ibaka 10, Perkins 10 and Tabo 7? Rest of the Guys 12 Is that impossible?

yes, because it's not a given that they do that on a nightly basis.

They'd have to hope every game is a 80-75 game each night to get W's. God forbid if even one of Durant or Harden has an off night. You're sunk there.

a point guard with poor decision making, tunnel vision (at times), and a ballhog more or less

don't know how many times i've seen westbrook refuse to pass to an open durant and instead run iso for himself

IMO with their best playmaker gone in harden, they really could use a rondo or nash right now.. durant could be EATING

This is what you don't understand. That's what Brooks and OKC want. They want Westbrook to take more shots than Durant and Harden, because that's what has worked for them. Not every team needs a pass-first guy at the starting point guard position.

fair enough.. we'll see how this season plays out

edit: more than harden yeah, but there's no way westbrook takes more shots than KD on that team right now, and i really doubt they would want him to

Harden's doing that because he's the #1 option in Houston. He doesn't get those touches in OKC. He ain't averaging more than 25 in OKC.

Even if Durant averages 30, that's still only 55-60 points. You'd need another 40 points from the rest of the roster, and that's not a given.

So what do you think he's going to get with Westbrook being gone? More touches. Touches from Rondo at that.

And that's enough, Rondo averages 10 a game, you got Sefo, Perkins, Maynor, Ibaka... you'd get the remaining points.

They made it to the NBA finals with Westbrook at point guard. If they had cp3 they still would have lost to the heat so what makes you think rondo would be a better fit? They're still gonna make it to the nba finals this year.

But as you saw from his performance in the Finals, you risk a disappearing performance from Harden, and that would completely sink the team.

Same risk with Westbrook really. :ld:

I mean really, it'd be interesting. Idk if it's Presti's biggest mistake but I don't see why Durant wouldn't want to play with Rondo, and still have Harden. I bet Westbrook stresses that nikka out lol.
