I agree with keeping Westbrook, but I never agreed with the Jeff Green trade for Kendrick Perkins. But they did go to a Finals so maybe that was the right call

They were right to reject that deal. OKC wouldn't have enough scoring if they had Rondo instead of Westbrook.

How many Scorers they have right now? You seen James Harden play? I think he can score.

Harden, Rondo, Durant can be more explosive than Westbrook, Martin and Durant offensively. Defensively it's not even close. Rondo is a All NBA Defense Caliber PG and Harden has improved from year to year. His offensive game has always been there but his defense has gotten tremendously better since his rookie year.

Talk to me about what Kmart Brings to the table offensively and Defensively right now. And did u see Westbrook D on Parker last night?

Harden, Rondo, Durant can be more explosive than Westbrook, Martin and Durant IMO.

At that time, if they had traded for Rondo their only scorers would've been Durant, Harden, and Jeff Green. Rondo's not a viable, reliable scorer and Green is a sieve on defense.

Westbrook is a perfect fit in OKC. I can't think of another team in the L where he'd fit in better.

imo any OKC fan will take that deal in an instant right now

i just don't think westbrook should even be playing the 1 in OKC.. he plays more like a 2

Yeah, because Durant being the league leading scorer, and Harden showing he can put up 30+ with ease isn't enough scoring.

Harden's doing that because he's the #1 option in Houston. He doesn't get those touches in OKC. He ain't averaging more than 25 in OKC.

Even if Durant averages 30, that's still only 55-60 points. You'd need another 40 points from the rest of the roster, and that's not a given.

Rondo can give u 13 a night, Ibaka 10, Perkins 10 and Tabo 7? Rest of the Guys 12 Is that impossible?

:why:

He can't guard 2's. He's a point guard. Not every point guard has to be Rondo or Nash.

a point guard with poor decision making, tunnel vision (at times), and a ballhog more or less

don't know how many times i've seen westbrook refuse to pass to an open durant and instead run iso for himself

IMO with their best playmaker gone in harden, they really could use a rondo or nash right now.. durant could be EATING
