In my hometown, a white guy went nuts and Murdered a 12 South East Asian kids because he was Vietnam Vet Nutcase. Does anyone ever mention that event?

It always shocks me how relevant race is in all these issues, yet nobody will address that.

Race is only relevant as part of a demographic description, not as some inherent part of the causal story behind gun violence, which is why no one is bringing it up. We know why there is more gun violence in Black neighborhoods, and it isn't because Black people are primitive or genetically predisposed to murder.

Tell me why? Because if society can prevent gun violence in black neighborhoods, the homicide rate would decrease significantly.

And race is an issue in this debate because 50% of all the gun deaths in united state are committed by blacks, and I guarantee that the vast majority of those guns are illegally obtained. Yet, the biggest triggering events for heightened gun control debate are when White Guys kill other White people. then it becomes a problem.

I keep seeing all these murder statistics used on this site, but when you really look at the data, it doesn't add up. If it was simply loose gun laws, then why does one Race have 50% of all the gun crimes? Why isn't it equally distributed?

Why does a White guy with an Assault Rifle become the Banner for Gun Control? Why do we care only when it is a White man with a gun? There is a host of other agenda's attached to the Gun Control. What this is really about is sticking it to Middle-American and Southern Whites who seem to be the Bane of existence to Blacks and liberal elite whites. Hidden behind gun control is the message, "It's you conservative whites that are holding back this country from being just like Greatness that is Europe" That's what this is really about in the big picture.

I agree. Hate when people make that argument, that we shouldn't ban something because criminals wont follow the law. I can understand other arguments, but not that one.

Step back from your subjective perspective.
I do not assume people are basically good with a few bad apples. I assume humans are the most deadly destructive creature we have scientific evidence for. Take a different large predator: Bears for instance. Pack a million of them into a few dozen square miles THEN give them all the power to kill instantly from a quarter mile away. This is how I imagine arming more and more people.

We keep using the excuse that criminals have guns, but the answer would be to disarm vrimimals, not arming every citizen.

WHY DO ORDINARY PEOPLE "NEED" GUNS SO BADLY? To kill other earthlings. Handguns are especially to kill people. What is the legit reason that we would need the ability to kill other humans? Even if uou legit have to kill one or two (burglars lets say) what's up with having 15 guns and 1000 rounds of ammo? Even if you're not murking people you are prepared to. Seemingly hoping you'll eventually get the chance.

The number of family members and friends killed by a gun in the house is multiple times the number of burglars who are killed each year.

While you wait on that burglar, you are much more likely to shoot your cousin.
