im sorry, if you werent on napster or audio galaxy you werent shyt. napster had none of the virus issues nor any of the bullshyt tags attached. very rarely did you NOT get what you want. there was stuff so rare on napster i still cant find to this day, i think alot of it had to do with the sheer volume of people on there sharing their old tapes/tracks that were ripped online, you dont have alot of that these days.


regardless back in 01 i fukked withsoulseek as a backup and havent looked back. open-nap held it down for as long as it could but eventually they shut down all of the servers. some still exist but not many.

filesharing was absolutely awesome then because everything and anything could be had.

I used that for years and never got no viruses.
It was obvious when you searched which were the real songs and which were fakes/viruses...

all those in my time using them i only ever got liek 2 viruses and they were DL by my mom

it was so obvious to spot a virus on those things

lol @ paying 200 to get viruses off ur cpu

makes me think dudes must have made lots of money from 2000-2008 off of stupid ppl and viruses, could prob get like 5 ppls computers charge 200 a piece 3 hours of work smh
