Not necessarily but don't expect other blacks to look for you when it comes to being problack or other races to take you serious as being problack when your partner isn't even black. It just the way it is would you take a black chick serious about black issues with a non black partner

You become one and make a life family with the person you choose to settle down with, you share a bed, finances, children, if you can do that with a white person don't mean you a sellout per see but you aren't problack if you choose to share your life with a non black person

And white people look like death as they age so more power to those looking to settle down with cacs

Honestly, I don't think it makes you a sellout if it happens organically.
Proximity and repeated exposure to this person brings you together.

But if your type/preference is for someone outside the people, and that's all you go for, then yeah, your probably a sellout.

This doesn't take into account the context of placement in society, politics etc.

Because in my opinion, the movers and shakers that strongly depend on the support of the people, have a responsibility to positively reflect the people.

I.e., the African leaders who married white made huge missteps and let the people who placed them there down.

Same for the civil rights leaders who married white.
Beholden to something greater, so the responsibility was there.

You can date whoever you like but dont tear down your race or come up with excuses. For example alot of c00ns who soley date out will say that black girls wasnt checking them out or that black women are loud, have attitude problems. Female c00ns say that since black men date out they should or that black men are trash and bottom of the barrel of society.
That is c00nish and dumb to come with excuses. Black folk are thr only race that brag about dating out.

Now if you a black nationalist and you MARRY outside your be prepared for black folk not to take you seriously. Because if you preach pro black stuff and have a white or asian wife black folk will look at you like . Reason being is that they will see you do not practice what you preach.

Sellout is a strong word, but you've def lost credibility and shouldnt be surprised when people dont want to hear what u have to say on certain issues.
