the graphics, animation, the size & scale, even the physics are firmly in the 360/ps3 generation, which is literally 2005 technology

The Ram memory is the issue as to why it can't. 360 had a half a gig, switch has 4gb of memory.

I don't think either of them would be able to handle the physics engine with their hardware specs

OP has never experienced the dreaded Red Rings of Death and had to go through multiple 360s during its run.

Also, at least Switch won't scratch my game and make it unplayable when the xbox gets shaken or jolted.

It got to the point that I had two 360s 1 for online and 1 modded.
