I grew up on collards being made with neckbones but everybody in my family has switched to using smoked turkey now. You gotta season the hell out of them but they are :ohlawd: &:feedme:

Making Soul Food Healthy is the steeze.

Removing the fat that rises to the top of meat after it sits in the refrigerator is satisfying, cause all that is going to clog up your arteries.

How many greens in that serving breh? That base is salty as hell and is to make CUPS of broth! I hope you’re not eating all that salt.

1/2 tbsp of the base in 1/4 cup of water makes it just right for me. Just one batch of greens since I live alone.

Don’t complain about racial intolerance from cac’s and your mind aint open. Im Dominican and from the projects. And I have spent lots of time down south. Also we make spinach/cabbage/ greens the same way. There is an entire black community in The DR that are decendants from the african slaves mostly east and south of the island. So don’t let them :negroporfa::cacsosa: Dominicans fool you. They prob blacker than you are the boats stopped in the islands first. But dont mind me read a book Breh!
