Trading in games seems to be a very common thing. I would understand it if a person who doesn't have a game anymore but would like to experience it again with a fresh coat of paint would buy a remaster.

There are a lot of people who missed out on certain games altogether.

Remasters are terrible for the people that have already played the original. Everyone else is enjoying them.

There is no huge gap when it comes to people who had a PS3 and Xbox 360 breh. Back in day that shyt was understandable

Some remasters are the shyt. TLOU PS4 and Tomb Raider PS4 Resident Evil Remastered was a blessing.

Uncharted 4 was never gonna see the light of day til 2016 (which I have preached for years on here)
So they gonna give you Uncharted 1-3 and people like yourself will benefit, while the fanboys will go "We got another 1!!!" and then not play it. Your peers on this site, most copped The Last of US for PS4 and nobody plays that shyt. They all stopped about 2 weeks after it dropped.

Sony gamers have NOTHING to play, they have no choice. What you don't seem to understand is "fanboys" will talk about anything there system of choice has and hype it up. Reality is different tho. In reality, remasters are not wanted. Tomb Raider remake didn't do NUMBERS. You bought DMC4? You excited about other HD remasters? A total remake of a game that came out a decade ago? Cool, a game that just came out and the only real difference is its 1080p instead of 720p? GTFOH
