I like how Dennis, more and more over the last 3 seasons realizes he's losing it. His mask of sanity is slipping brehs. Hopefully we have a few "nutso Dennis" episodes this season.
I was reading this article from The New Yorker recently about Always Sunny and one of the last lines is
"Maybe 'Always Sunny' will never win an Emmy. (“The Wire” never did.) But please watch it or I’ll kill this dog."
Never thought of that, and I think it's pretty awesome he mentioned The Wire considering they're my two favorite shows of all time
Not to mention the gods
and 
never being recognized by the Grammys/Oscars.
It's ok though, they're for the people anyway

Now that we see over the series Dennis' potentially psychotic tendendancies its interesting to watch earliar episodes because there are signs even very early.
I was rewatching season one, and there is a point in the Charlie has Cancer episode where the waitress owes him and Mac 250 dollars and wont pay them. But there is a scene where he checks her front door to see if its locked and looks like he is in deep thought and Mac has to stop him like 'Nah, lets go' and its pretty creepy now.
(thats also the debut episode of Artemis where she is dancing on the bar like Coyote Ugly)

Yep.
Way back in season 3 when they think Mac is a serial killer (cause he is fukking the tranny) Dennis and Dee pretend to be serial killers themself to try and think like them. And they are stalking the waitress but only pretend... then when he is going over the plan to sneak up on her and kill her Dee has to remind him that they aren't really going to kill her... and he snaps back to reality.
I think that might be the earliest definitive moment... but its there from season one.
