I know some of y'all are gonna say I'm crazy but I've yet to find an answer that makes sense.

The earth cannot possibly be rotating. We would feel it, helicopters wouldn't be able to hover in a stationary position and the duration of flights would be markedly different between the departure flight and the return flight.
