the prequel is great because it dwelves more into the gladiators, you learn aobut gannicus and see crixus becoming a gladiator

i loved the second season as well, as they went from a ragtag group of warriors to thousands and thousands

I think overall GoT is the better show but @ times I enjoyed spartacus more if that makes sense...it’s kind of like GoT is “wifey” and spartacus is the “mistress”...I liked the gratuitous nudity/violence/course language in spartacus plus the story was a decent one...it was sort of a guilty pleasure...but GoT imo has more intricate storytelling/character development even w/ the shytty last season
