nikkas actually went out of their way to not show battles. Remember when the midget was about to fight and he got knocked out and then woke up and the battle was over? yea that was supposed to be a huge battle where he caught hella bodies.

Meanwhile spartacus is out here using WNBA Salary budgets to create classics

nobody knows where it goes


lets see... who's cgi is better? which show has better and more known actors? which show is shot in different countries for damn near every scene? which show is not using a green screen? which show has better costumes and sets??

there's more to a show than epic battles.. and i'm a huge fan of sparty. the battles are definitely better. but that's because GOT isn't an action show. It's like comparing 300 to Gladiator. What did Gladiator have 3-4 actual fights and battles. While 300 was murking nikkas every 5 minutes. but which one was the better overall movie?


that's where your budget goes. To about 90 other things than putting it all into 1 battle scene per ep

constant slow motion
Adobe After Effects trial version CGI
sequences that blatantly rip off Gladiator and 300 (the whole visual style is struggle-300)
everything being green-screened and post-processed, shyt looks like FMV from a PS2 game

the choreography, cinematography, and directing style are

the Trial by Combat scenes alone put GoT over Spartacus for me.

At it's best i'd say spartacus is pretty good but there were times where the blood splatter was pretty bad looking. like they threw v8 up in front of a camera and filmed it in slomo.

Game of thrones is like at 5 star restaurant while Spartacus is like eating at mcdonalds. One's the best meal you'll ever have and ones a cheap fix.

I'm not trying to say it didn't have good characters, but what makes GOT's characters so good is each of them have a rich history and backstory, and all the different relationships the characters have with eachother. They're also all very complex, not entirely good and not entirely bad.

I'm thinking I love GOT but that fight scene don't touch any Spartacus scenes
