Antz was the more adult 3D movie. I remember one summer watching it at least 10 times on some pay cable channel

Both literally the same movie, I guess they didn't really know what ants were up to besides a few things. A Bugs Life had slightly better characters, music and animation being Pixar.

Bug's life is better to me but I never was in love with either

Antz always never resonated with me when I was younger, it didn't feel fun, it felt more like a mature, grounded drama. I'd probably like and understand it more now that I'm older but I doubt I'd watch it again unless I was forced

Bug's Life. More memorable scenes and characters. Meanwhile, I barely even remember the main ant from Antz and only scene I can recall from it is the talking dismembered head.
