The only thing this opens the door to is Brock either cleanly jobbing out Braun in a singles match or making both Braun and Reigns look like shyt again in a triple threat (but probably not winning the belt, because hey why not devalue that even further?) at Saudi Series... all while barely showing up in the run to and disappearing right after.

Last night, they couldn’t even give Braun a real monster spot and completely made a fall from the cage pointless because they had to make sure barely part time, off to UFC Brock’s run-in shone above the six de facto top guys on Raw, but you wanna stay focusing 100% on Reigns being the entire problem here.

Breh....wtf are you really expecting? Are you really that naive to think that they would do anything good at this point?

I know the product is trash. It’s why I watch about 10 minutes of it a week, if that, and only caught about the same of the show last night in a stream when the football game was losing me and I couldn’t get Netflix to come up. They don’t get my money, their official outlets don’t get my clicks.

Not expecting it to be good isn’t the same as giving them a pass on making their de facto top six guys on Raw look like geeks just to prop Brock up again and somehow spinning the main problem in this situation to be one of the guys who looked like a geek though. Not expecting something to be good and then it not being good doesn’t suddenly make that thing any less bad — it’s still not good all the same.

You may hate Reigns, but him winning would at least be about the product they put out every week, no matter how shyt that product is. Booking Brock to still be ahead of him, Braun, everyone, isn’t about anything at this point.

What was supposed to change that the objectively worst outcome — at least for anyone who isn’t a full blown Brock stan — last night (the one where everyone who actually has to try to carry this trash product looks either like chumps or irrelevant) was going to get a pass?

They’d find a way to fukk it up if he was gone too. They rarely ever give clean finishes on pay per view now, they either have no idea how to accomplish their goals or have no goals at all, and they aren’t willing to put in the work to make things interesting or make sense. Doesn’t matter who is on the roster as long as cokeboy and nipple h have a say in the matter.

This is honestly the top and bottom line. The main event scene in on RAW has been straight garbage ever since they decided to put the title on Brock and keep it there no matter what kind of momentum other guys had going (case in point, Seth Rollins)

Brock never needed a title on him. If the argument is "Brock's a draw and gives a big fight feel" well... That's because he's Brock Lesnar, not because he had the title. People who are going to tune in or buy tickets to see Brock are doing that regardless of if he's Universal Champ, IC Champ, one half of a tag team or in a random feud. Holding your entire main event scene hostage and squandering the momentum of several of your full time top guys for the sake of a guy who doesn't need a title to create the impact you want him to

The finish is a problem because it prioritizes making a dude with one foot perpetually out the door look great while simultaneously making Roman and Braun look weak af by comparison, while also cheapening the HIAC match AND wasting the MiTB briefcase.

None of how the match ended was good for anyone or anything except for Brock and Brock's bank account.

Roman should have won clean. He’s beaten Braun before, why not? Why fukk up your second or third biggest stip match just to build to Saudi Mania 2? If Roman is your long term champion, he should go over everyone clean. He doesn’t have a lack of opponents over the next 6 months

Yeah for what reason? It was funny in the moment, sure, but it was pointless in the story, as was Mick even being involved. He did nothing but botch a 3 count. That would've been a better finish if they just went with that and had Braun win via Foley botched count.
