I was just about to mention Aaliyah. The difference is Aaliyah dances her ass off and Beyonce is a performer she puts on a great show. Rihanna is pretty and has style and sex appeal so they all bring something different to the table.

But yea she has some solid vocals...I spent like an hour looking at her live shows, and more often than not her vocals are on point. Though these were recent shows, she seems to just strut around swagged out now so she isn't exerting herself.
If anything she needs to workout, she be breathless and shyt alot...but it isn't too bad.

i came up on some tickets on her nyc stop on that 777 promotional tour a couple years ago. her live show was pretty good. vocally it wasn't anything spectacular, but she has a lotta hits and good energy.

I think people have a problem with the amount of success she had to be someone with so little talent. It's just a constant reminder that it's about not talent anymore, but how generic (pop) your music is and how marketable you are. Doesn't she have more #1's than Janet?
