Taker and Punk put on a great match.

The credit goes too both. People like to say Punk carried Taker, but they both did their share to make the match great.

Agreed.

My girlfriend and sister who dont even watch or care about wrestling said after the show that the Punk-Taker match was the only one entertaining throughout.
Wake up Rock stans, CM Punk is THE man of this era and just cause the :flabbynsick: WWE admins dont fully embrace the fact does not make it so.

you sound mad brother. fukk the numbers and bs that your using to make yourself feel good, wrestling is about well uh wrestling not money that you will never see. punk had the best match of the night period, as a fan id take quality over quantity any day, only if you were seeing any of their income would i say its different. lets not forget your boy getting boring chants during the me and bowing down to cena at the end like a true chump, punk would never sell his soul like that breh.

Been saying this.

Let guys like Vince and Hunter Hearst Helmsley worry about who draws and who doesnt. Fans should just be concerned with the quality of the matches and segments/promos.

This imbecile just doesnt get it

The crowd was dead for the entire Punk/Taker match until they started to go home

Rock/Cena actually got the crowd involved

Really those were the only 2 matches worth a sh1t on the whole show but I'd say Rock/Cena was the better match by a bit

I was in attendance last night and would just like you to know that you either have no idea what you're talking about or you're a liar.

Punk/Taker was easily the match of the night and the crowd was involved from start to finish.

So Undertaker is involved in the match of the night again at wrestlemania but all credit goes to punk.:beli:

Typically the bulk of the credit goes to the person who did most of the heavy lifting during the match. I think smart fans call it "carrying" the other guy.

The mystique of Undertaker and his streak made the hype but it was Punk's in ring ability that made the hype worth it.

Its that why the crowd were chanting boring during the Cena vs Rock match? :smugfavre:

No other match on the card received this treatment, let alone the ME

And you cant blame them. It was a awful match and the crowd expressed how they felt about it.

Hopefully we will see more of Punk from now on in the mainevent scene.

Rewatched it. I was wrong, crowd was alive at the beginning and the end but pretty dead through the bulk of the middle aside from big spots. Must have been my boredom that caused me to think they were dead for the whole thing

Isnt that how most wrestling crowds are anyway, until the false finishes sequence starts

So what about the most recent wrestlemanias the last four years. Where Undertaker is involved in match of the night and Punk isn't. Who gets credit for that.
