Wrestling like most other story mediums, it always has and will be, a story of good vs bad. Unfortunately character building isn't the strong point nowadays. Whether it be the writing and/or people not really understanding their characters or how to adapt or grow the character when needed.

Take Seth Rollins he went from being the architect of the Shield, to the authoritys lacky to freaking what?

If you was to write a character report on Seth's arc, your first reaction would be, that his character has gone backwards and fallen on hard times.
