fam i have 2 close friends that are gay. one female with a son, one dude with 2 boys

all their kids are hetero as fukk.

not saying one way is better than the other but being gay is so irrelevant to so many things. i will always fail to understand why people care so much

Came in to write those last two sentences. Nobody gives a fukk.

dude, there are studies done on this. being an orphan is like the worst fukking thing that someone could have going against them. any kind of parenting is better than being in foster homes or orphanages

I'll just leave this here

"The lesbian parents of an 11-year-old boy who is undergoing the process of becoming a girl last night defended the decision, claiming it was better for a child to have a sex change when young.
Thomas Lobel, who now calls himself Tammy, is undergoing controversial hormone blocking treatment in Berkeley, California to stop him going through puberty as a boy."

"The hormone-suppressant, implanted in his upper left arm, will postpone the 11-year-old developing broad shoulders, deep voice and facial hair.
The couple faced intense criticism from friends and family as a result, Ms Moreno told MailOnline.
'Everybody was angry with us. "How could you be doing this? You might be ruining his whole life!"

Makes me wonder if the mothers had any influence in telling this little boy that men aren't needed or men are bad or being a girl is so much better than being a boy

Here's the thing, the people who are SO vehemently opposed to this aren't planning on adopting anybody. If it means fewer kids rotting in the foster care system, fine by me.

I support it. Just because the parents are gay doesn't mean they can't be good parents.

sure why not.

I sure as fukk don't want those kids.

Exactly. So many kids that need good loving homes. Who cares if the people happen to be gay? It's known that you are born gay. You don't just turn that way because of your parents, or else gay people with hetero parents would've turned out hetero.

If I could I would. As many as legally possible. Or at least set up a foster home.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politic...-doesnt-recall-high-school-bullying-incident/

Mitt Romney expressed support for gay adoption on Thursday, calling it “fine” and noting that it’s legal in his home state of Massachusetts. But he again stressed his opposition to same-sex marriage and his preference for every child to have a mother and a father. Also in the interview, he said he didn’t recall an incident in which he reportedly bullied a student presume to be gay.
