While I agree with your overall premise, that is one of the few example where the bolded was accurate. Peyton fukked up right there and there is no excuse.

I explicitly stated...."he doesn't have the luxury to make a mistake". Of course he fukked up right there, just like Brady was fukking up this past Sunday. We're 9 pages deep excusing Brady fukk ups while we simply hang Peyton's fukk ups squarely on his shoulders. No nuance about how the defense couldn't get off the field and forced Peyton to press, etc.

A month ago the Pats had no problems moving the ball in Denver without a totally healthy offense. Nobody saw this coming

Denver still had the number 1 defense all season. Pats still had o-line issues all season. It's just that these things were glossed over in order to suck Brady off and write Peyton's obit prior to the game. Now they are the overriding narratives after the game. Pretty convenient.

I clearly stated that I agree with you overall premise. You will never see me excusing either man's fukk ups basing the depth of my analysis on who won or lost. That is a fukk up Peyton has to own, there are no excuses or explanations beyond that. That play is what the narrative would have you believe happened in most of his playoff games and we both know that isn't the case. Brady has his share too (more than most would like to acknowledge, some of which he got bailed out on) and I call them what they are too.

But they still put up a lot of points and we're not talking the 2000 ravens. The top defenses in today's football is mostly bend but don't break

While I agree people glossed over the pats oline issues nobody could have predicted Von Miller would play like LT and the whole line would be on Brady's lap literally every play

While the pats oline had big issues it was never embarrassed to the level it was Sunday

Okay but you can't act like it came out of nowhere. A great D with a vicious front got constant pressure on a QB with a make shift line...not exactly earth shattering there.
