The focus on the mid card is great but I find myself skipping through half the show, not because it's bad per se, but purely cause it's exhausting to sit through 3 hours of anything.
Let's be reality, 3 hour Raw > 2 Hour Raw

Nah..its not jus makes it harder for me to watch all the way thru
So why watch all the way through? I think most people do not sit down and watch every second of a random basketball game, most people switch around and come back at the best parts.
With DVR you can feel free to browse around because you know with these 3 hours Raw's you're going to get about 2 good matches per show, with them 2 hours Raw's you're lucky you get 1 good match per month.
Problem is not many people watch them shows.
In reality, the avid fan just watches Raw, people do shyt on Fridays and if they're going to push something it's done on Raw.
There is legit stories to mid-card guys now, there is a reason they're all fighting and the tag-team division is a legit division. I have people I want to see in tag matches now and am interested where they go with it.

Three hours at a live non PPV show is killer.
Like others have said before, two hour RAWs could have be just as good if the fillers and certain promos were keep to a bare minium.
Big favor to ask the DVRers. Can anyone guesstimate how much acutal in-ring wrestling occurss during the three hour RAW.

The show IS better when the extra time is used to push other guys, but when it's just used to give the established stars long and unnecessary segments, it's bad
They run a segment and then do a FULL replay of the segment like 30 minutes later. I don't ever remember WCW being that goofy.
But that's my whole point, it's been used to get the undercard over.
-Cesaro has been able to have longer matches, showcasing his talent.
-Maddox has been able to get screen time showcasing his personality.
-The tag division is stronger than ever, and guys like PTP actually are relevant
-Mid-card titles seem more important because time is actually being dedicated to contending for them
All this stuff wasn't happening with 2 hour raw, and for those who say "this could all still happen if it was 2 hours", point is that it wasn't happening because it was 2 hours and it wasn't going to happen with just 2 hours.
WWE puts so much emphasis on the main guys there's no way they we're going to cut down on Cena, Orton, Punk time in 2 hours to fit these other guys in
3 hours > 2 hours.
as long as they get rid of all of the reviews and segments that just bomb, im good.

The problem with three hours is when it's a bad show, it's REALLY bad because it's so long

I noticed this too, I think when The Shield debuted the decision was probably made to not have another 3 man group in black being on TV at the same time.
Not a bad decision, I dug the 3MB though
