Let's be reality, 3 hour Raw > 2 Hour Raw

- The matches have gotten better and longer.
- The mid-card has been given attention and they have booked mid-cared feuds instead of just having a ppv with 3 announced matches and 4 random ones.
- New wrestlers have been given a platform to show what they got. Guys like Brad Maddox, The Shield, Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro all have benefited from that extra hours.

It's the reality of it. Most wrestling fans just love to bytch, and they bytched about the 3 hour raw before it even started, so they're sticking with it. But then the`ll come on the net and rant and rave about the ratings of the show they bytch about. Sad, sad existence,

3 hour Raws are better from a wrestling perspective, but when it comes to long drawn out promos that's when they make me flip to Monday Night Football. The tag teams and midcard dudes make Raw worthwhile.

I agree that going three hours has FORCED them into paying attention to the mid-card and FORCED them into giving us longer matches but everything you mentioned can be done, and has been done in the past, in a two-hour format. No excuses.

Ultimately, it really depends on how much free time you have on your hands and how big of a wrestling geek you are when it comes to how long you think a wrestling show should be.

Perhaps some of you would be prefer four hours every Monday night. For me, two hours is just right.

Mid card and tag feuds have been at its best in years.

No 3 hour raws suck because we don't need 5 reviews of an earlier Cena/AJ/Vickie promo or a full replay of a promo from a previous weeks show. They could have the same midcard matches during a 2 hour raw and the show would be much better. Less promos with Punk whining and less Vickie/Cena/AJ BS and the shows would have a better flow and be more worth keeping an eye on.

As someone trying to get back into this, them three hour Raws are death. I just can't watch all of it. It's blatantly obvious most weeks that they are just killing time. Replaying segments from 15 minutes ago and shyt.....

They can do better simply by making Smackdown an actual show worth watching again. Nothing really happens on that show right now.

They have FIVE other shows right now. I get that RAW is the A-show, but building up the midcard and having a longer RAW are not mutually exclusive.

The whole point is there is nothing wrong with flipping the channel to MNF, but when Raw is good it's stuff you don't want to miss.

Before Raw would be 2 hours of short matches and long promos and the show would have 90% of its air-time covered by 3-4 individuals.

Now I can flip through the dumb stuff, and also get a 15 minute match with Cesaro/Sheamus or another match that deserves the time.
