If you cant attend a function, as a businessman, in a nice tailored suit, but rather show up in some faded lee jeans and a throwaway hoody i got no respect for you, doesnt matter the income

I see your point but at the same time these dudes all run and own multi-billion dollar corporations. I'm sure they command respect from the people that matter (no hate, I'm talking investors, etc.).

I get to wear business casual. I don't wear a suit.
At my last job, I had a uniform. Then, I had to wear a suit when I had court cases.
So, basically, I like to dress comfortably most of the time. If I'm going to a wedding or funeral, I'm going to wear a suit.
