all i know is that the either second to last? or last? ep of the first season, with the riot/them taking over the prison, is one of the best episodes of TV i ever watched, ever

Almost every episode was the same with a new guy ending up in prison and either get raped, killed or both.
Everything was always over the top but I must admit it made an entertaining show.

The show went to shyt immediately after Adebesi died. Then that shyt got extra gay with Beecher and Keller. I got tired of seeing those two fakkits on the screen. Too much fakkitry so I had to throw that shyt in the bushes after season 4.

it was experimental for sure..and set in prison with the intent to explore the fantasy realms of imagination hence the title OZ- wizard of oz..
i love the show and will remain a huge fan.

Show was a fukking mess and was carried beyond words by high quality tv charactor actors for years...that cast couldve had a drama about hot dog vendor wars and made it compelling...ryan oreilly and karim seid wouldve been the best charactors on like a dozen shows...

Show is torture to watch for the story and wouldve been 100x worse if not for the quality charactor acting

Never really thought about it like that, but yeah the show was a mess and it was carried by great acting.
Tua does make an interesting point with the "Wizard of Oz" penitentiary angle, but I can't let the writers off the hook that easy.
