There was no way to justify to the board, exclusive activision games when they saw the billions they would be losing on ps and switch sales.

Exactly. Making Activision games exclusive to Xbox was $76.8billion gamble that wouldn't pay off.

Activision making new IPs exclusive while keeping old franchises on all platforms could've been a plan. It still can be. But I doubt it.

Microsoft was gonna grab up games, hold them exclusive to Xbox and never release any titles they get to other platforms forcing players to move over to Xbox.

Literally the first thing they announced about the Activision deal was that the games weren’t gonna go exclusive.

Somehow in 2024 dudes think they cracked the code by saying microsoft should release games on other platforms
