Kobe wasn't in his prime in 2012
2009 Kobe with 44% usage against GSW equals a few 60 pt games.
so you are comparing 34 year old Kobe on bad knees with 30 year old Lebron??
I really dont see '12 OKC v. '15 Warriors being the crux of either argument here
Kobe stans just deflecting and trying to make this about something else
Bron is having a legendary Finals, period
Fewer points rebounds and assists... and his team got bounced in the second round.
PLUS: You're talking about seasons, and cherry picking games... he's talking about playoffs.
in 2012, kobe wasn't scoring 40-50 at will... he scored 40 once. Get your facts right.
And LeBron's usg% in the playoffs are 38%.
LeBron is having an unreal post season, on a weaker team than Kobe has ever had in the finals.... and you seem to be deflecting with red herrings.
Also; Usage Rate includes the amount of free throw attempts a player gets. Which is a good thing.
There is just a lot of misunderstanding of statistics on this board, and it's hilarious.
Facts > Dreams
Kobe would be putting the same numbers with better effeciency if in the same situation especially if he was singled covered he might not average 12 rebounds cuz hes not the biggest player on the court
Kobestans always find new sharks to jump.
Kobe and efficiency
prime kobe with a 44 usage rate against the warriors wont put up lebron's all around stats, but he's gonna average a more efficient 40-45 ppg
that's the honest truth
YOU ARE COMPARING 2012 KOBE TO PRIME LEBRON.....KILL YASELF.
co-sign. i'm the biggest kobe stan alive but even i can see kobe ain't the passer bron is. lebron has natural innate passing talent thats the best for a non-pg i've ever seen. plus he's 6'9" 260 lbs. so he's gonna average more rebounds. but I will say Kobe would score more points on better efficiency cause he won't miss all those good looks from the mid-range bron is missing against iggy. also kobe would be more devastating against the one on one coverage.
42ppg, 7rpg, 6apg on 44% shooting sounds about right for kobe given bron's usage.
12 years in and 30 years old...LeBron is not "prime"
