Miami Bron's FG % was so much better because of his shot selection more than his jumper just being that much better. He probably didn't like how much they tried to reign in his game, instead of just letting him play. Sure his fg% sky rocketed, but they weren't letting him just play loose, it was all about metrics and efficiency, which obviously efficiency is a great thing but at some point you gota just let the dude play.

And if Wade made Miami, why did they make such a leap immediately after getting Bron, after losing in the first round 3 out of 4 seasons and missing the playoffs entirely the other season before Bron got there? And there's no doubt Shaq and Kobe made that Lakers team, Shaq was the clear cut leader though, and an argument could be made that Kobe could've been replaced by T-Mac, Vince Carter, or AI and those Lakers teams still win 3 chips, no one could've replaced Shaq on those teams. Then Kobe didn't win again until he had 2 dominant big men in Gasol and Bynum.
I wouldn't put Kobe and Lebron 2 and 3, Bron might get there but not yet. Not when dudes like Kareem, Wilt, Bill Russell, Magic, Bird, Tim Duncan and so many more all exist. Kobe can't get to 2 or 3 on the list, if Lebron can continue to move up the all time stat lists and add a few more chips he can move up to 2 or 3, or possibly even GOAT status, but that's gona take a lot for him to get there.
And yes Wade isn't even close to being top 10, I still say Pippen was an all around better player, and wouldn't put Wade any higher than maybe 25-30 on the all-time list and that's being generous, outside of his absolutely legendary finals performance there's nothing to separate him from even a TMac or Vince Carter in terms of all around game and stats.
And the fact that you're trying to claim it takes a decade to acquire talent in the NBA shows how little you know, most players don't even make it 10 years, and the ones that do don't stick around on a team that is taking 10 years to rebuild.

I can somewhat agree with that, though it's definitely up for debate. But I get what you're saying, in terms of pure talent they are definitely up there with anyone that's ever played.
I've always said to my boys there's a huge difference between talent and legacy. Jordan has the greatest legacy his career played out like a fukking movie, but that doesn't mean he's hands down the most talented to ever play the game. (And Bill Russell may even have him in the legacy department)
Throw your top 10 lists in the bushes. Wade is the 3rd best player to ever play his position, and yes that's saying something.
