Let's Be Real. American Cities Going To Be Looking Like Afghanistan and Somalia

With the news of Detroit going bankrupt and plenty of American Cities may be following suit we may be in a day of reckoningfor these cities and citizens. Small police forces, no city services and criminals running around with AKs, Shotguns etc... expect many cities to be looking like a warzone in the next couple of decades.
Expect private own police forces to protect rich citizens surrounded by gated communites.

I don't think it will look like those nations... but some cities to need to be careful about privatizing everything... shyt it me this weekend when people were slow to get power back after a storm and when I didn't get my trash picked up til Sunday. All month the gov has been saying Detroit services will be excellent, and great, and an improvement AFTER the bankruptcy. I was like "WTF, how is that?"

I feel like so much shyt is about to be privatized. The City counsel and other officials will remain powerless - which mean it's not a representative area - meaning people are powerless. Combine that w .... the AK's and heavy weapons the gen pop has.

It would be a recipe for disaster... but most people are brainwashed and would never fight back.. those AKs are gonna be used on each other.

Philly has the drop program where you can retire for one day cash out 200 to 400 thousand depending on who you are and come back unretire the next day.

I use to go to this barber when I was young maybe 11 and 12, he would always say man this country going to be like the third world. Guns everywhere, prison complex, cost of living rising while the rich get richer and the coporations buying the government. I guess he wasn't wrong. I am just amazed at how the speed of the collapse is happening.

Liberals policies...taxing people to death and generous pensions/welfare programs are unsustainable.

Smart cities use private companies for most services. Most people see the government as a bank, they feel like they have been taxed too much so when they get the chance to rape they don't even put a condom on.

OH you mean like there will be places police wont go, gangs of violent teens roaming the streets causing all types of mayhem and destruction, places where if you need an ambulance you gotta "meet them up the street?", sporadic utility service and poor housing conditions?

I really fear for the unity of this country in the future... You've got a few places booming on the east and west coast.... and then you've got this shytholes (detroit, baltimore, Oakland, etc.) collapsin'... This goes to show you how inequality is growin' in the country...

I'm not sayin' times were better before, cause I dont know how true that is... But opportunities are shrinkin' or relocatin' to a rather few places....

I sincerely feel our government lacked the vision to protect America in the future decades ago... Letting the national economy globalize itself this fast and this big was always gonna affect the average citizen...

The rich are not at fault... We all work around the loopholes to gain the most benefits...

We just lacked vision and planning,,,
