03 was a down year. How can anyone say it wasn't?

Chris Webber blew out his knee in the playoffs and Dirk sprained his knee or ankle and missed the rest of the playoffs against the Spurs.

Kobe and Shaq were both injured. Shaq had a toe injury that cost him to miss several months of the regular season and Kobe was playing on a knee that needed surgery. You forgot why he went to Colorado?

And then they face the nets in the finals:scusthov:(great defensively though but overall a mediocre team and terrible on offense)

You're wrong.. but I get what you're going at..

Duncan is a little overrated IMO. He was a great player, no doubt. But his peak doesn't stand up against the immortal six or even Shaqs.. I can't rank him any higher than 8th place all-time, which isn't a knock on him at all. So that's where he's around on my all-time list.

Because he didn't "score" at a high level is what i KNOW you're basing it off of

like the Lakers didn't face them in the finals the year before but we're not going to mention that :ehh:
The Lakers faced better teams in the WCF in 02. The Spurs had a cakewalk. All the big stars went out with an injury.

David is more physically gifted and a better defensive player. Duncan is more clutch, a better leader and a better playoff performer. I never denied that, and I'm not saying Drob is a true number one option he was soft, but if Duncan was in his place in his prime he doesn't win anything either and the narrative is that Tim is the choker or loser.

As for The 95' WCF, Is Timmy beating Hakeem in 95' either?:childplease:

Man this is why I dont get into this what if game....these debates never end...so fukk it Ill bite. Which Timmy we talking and you gotta take into account the squads:yeshrug:

You know what fukk it I refuse to sidetrack this thread so Ill keep it to Timmy v DRob.
