In my mind there is no doubt N64 was the goat, I don't know how many hours I spent on Goldeneye, or trying to collect stars on Super Mario, or throwing mad controllers because I lost against those bytch ass gym leaders on Pokemon Stadium.


But the first time I popped in Tekken 3
The graphics were

and the fact that you could play burned games had me eatin good back then

in retrospect, which one was better?

Goldeneye & No Mercy >>>>> PS1/PS2

I had both, but those two games had a bigger impact on me than any playstation game.

n64 in my eyes, but i didnt own a ps1 till the end of the generation

to me n64 was better it had way more classics to me. My ps1 broke though so it kind of affected my memories. I beat mgs years later and i liked syphon filter and the smackdown series was a cool change of pace but it wasn't like no mercy or mania 2000...plus all the mario classics and zelda and the hours put into goldeneye multiplayer and mario kart...and starfox holy crap

don't care how much more ps1 sold n64 was the better system

what 64 lacked was support from ea with madden and other important third parties at first and that killed it sales wise

PS was a monster and had alot of really really dope games, especially considering when it was released. once they hacked the PS nikkaz was eatin too.

but N64 was just better to me. The gameplay it offered was just superior and they had some of my all time favorite games on there. and the games aged alot better. i still have fun playing n64 games, but i have no desire at all to play and PS1 games
