The East has been so garbage for 10 years.... always just 1 or 2 teams who were about that life....
Now in 2012, people are saying the East is stacked again. Besides Miami, with who?
The Celtics are for all purposes done as a top tier team... they're still solid though.
Bulls gotta go a year without Rose and even then they're still a flawed team.
Knicks as constructed can't beat the Heat. Even with Lin or Nash.
Pacers are still a few pieces away but they're the only solid team going into next year.
Atlanta just hit a quick rebuilding phase.
Orlando is whatever... we all know they're going nowhere.
Philly is not bad either but they need at least 3 more pieces as well.
Brooklyn better hope they can get Dwight or that D-Will doesn't leave or they're a 8th seed team at best.
So who else is left? Milwaukee? Detroit? Washington? Toronto? Charlotte?
I'm not saying there are not some okay teams in the East... I'm just saying the East has not really gotten much better since '07 (minus Chicago and NY).

NBA as a whole isnt deep anymore though...
Outside of Okc and Miami whats left? Its a even league right now but the East has more teams. Chi, Bos, Ind and NY have more pieces in place for success. Out West you got LA, SA and Dallas to me thats it. Even ass league...
