Pujols just started out extremely slow but he's been beasting for a while now.

He had 0 HR and 4 RBI in all of April. Since he hit his 1st HR on May 6th he's hitting over .300 with 28 HR and is currently 5th in the majors in RBI's. Not bad for what is essentially only 3 months work (throw April in the bushes).

I'm a Dodger fan so I can give a fukk whether or not they make the playoffs but I traded for Albert last month in my fantasy baseball league and he's been putting in work.

breh, i understand completely. im not saying you guys wont make it. but like you said yourself, nobody thought you would win 60 games. better teams have choked away huge leads (red sox, braves) so im just saying lets see how they perform under the pressure of september. plus they still have games left agains the white sox, yankees and rays should be a great and exciting last month

but the way the angels are pitching right now if they dont correct that it wont matter what the teams ahead of them do

Only two teams in the last decade have made the postseason with negative differentials....and there are years where ALL the playoff teams are at least +100

It's not impossible....but in almost all cases, it catches up with you.
