Let's address the Elephant in the room, RAW is boring 3 hours

Its funny you guys say this because I was watching the old Smackdowns from 2000 and I remember how perfectly executed these shows were.. They were longer but the talent pool back then was deep. Angle/Edge/Christian/Benoit/Guerrreo held down the midcards, Too Cool was over, You had the Hardcore title matches satisfying the hardcore fans of the ECW style. The segments weren't cartoonish or silly (APA beatdowns, backstage brawls with Y2J/Benoit) and you had guys like Rock, Triple H, Taker, holding down the main event slots with Too Cool and Rikishi or the Dudleyz getting main event slots here and there for tag matches.


They can't pull this shyt today not because of talent but because alot of these guys don't have their own flavor. Its like New Jack said. Most of these guys come from Ohio Valley Wrestling, they train the same, they look the same, talk the same, wrestle the same and have the same finishers whereas back in the day you had wrestlers seasoned from different territories bringing their talents on a much wider scale and making classic moments.

The roster is terrible and the storylines are even worse.

It's exhausting... it's like watching a damn PPV every week.

Since they're quietly ending the brand split, it is necessary tho'... it would be crammed like hell if they tried to condense all that into two hours. Every match would be short, nobody in the undercard would get much face time, etc. Still... I've found myself on numerous occasions looking up and realizing it's only 9:45 and being like "another hour and a half to go?" Bad enough those 3 hour eps were always tedious anyway, now it's every damn week. By the time it's over, I can't wait to cut it off.

The brand split was getting old, but I knew something like this would happen if they ever ended it. 3 hours every week is just... extra.

It'd be better if they took away the notion that Raw and Samackdown are different when all the SD guys are on Raw every week.

Way way way too many video packages, too. Scrubbing through my downloaded RAW, there's a 70% chance I hit some goddamn repeated video promo on any second that I seek to.

I like that the midcard and jobber guys get burn. I hate that the show starts and ends with 20 minute promo. Worst comes to worst you can always flip to Monday Night football during some trash.

not true, as long as the WWE is around a core group of people are gonna watch it. Entourage sucked it's last couple seasons, but if it was still coming on I would watch just out of habit.

why not? theres some around here who say its better

dont know about yall but when i dont like a tv show anymore i just stop watching (i.e. true blood, house, american idol, etc.)
