This is probably one of the simplest and most baseless explanations to devalue "youth and inexperience" to hype up Lebrons success. Lebron is a better player now than he was 10 years ago because of his maturity and his experience. His bball IQ is leagues above what they were when he was 18-21. Players evolve and clearly Lebron has peaked, physically and mentally, he beat a few teams who are way behind in that perspective, but still accomplished a lot based on their talent. This Lebron hype now is just the NBAs hype piece for a week or 2. The real shock was Boston getting this far with young players, with no clear superstar, after losing 2 franchise acquisitions.
If you put money on Boston getting to the ECFs this year starting from game 1...you made a bundle. If you bet on the Cava going, then you didn't.

We keep talking about Jeff Green being his number 2 option but a 20 year old rookie was the Celtics number 1 option. Props to Bron for the sustained career dominance but this Celtics team is being overrated to prop up Bron.

When did just getting to the Finals become some great achievement? Lebron is an all time great no doubt but cats go to great lengths to celebrate him smh. He just went 7 games vs rookies and role players b.
NO ONE thought that the raptors were gonna beat the Cavs. Everyone knew that the Raps were food for Lebron. What people didn't expect was for them to get swept this time.
And NO ONE expected the Pacers and the Boston to take them to game 7 either. Those teams OVERACHIEVED considering their youth and inexperience. THOSE were the surprises, not Lebron getting to the finals
