I agree, but if someone does not want to be helped, then why try to change things? I have seen him disregard advice before. I have also seen him disregard the realest post in that thread. There are some people who just literally have to learn the hard way. It's the same situation that you posted in that thread a bit back. There's some things you can't fix.

I understand which is why I gave my own version of tough love. But when is enough, enough? Some people are trying to make him commit suicide in that other thread. Are there no boundaries?

He's not going to commit suicide, he's been through a lot worse. He dosen't really care about our opinion to be honest. Otherwise that thread wouldn't have done numbers, and he wouldn't have tried to argue back when people gave advice. It would have been dope to see him win, I even wanted to invest , but maybe he just isn't meant to succeed. If he hasn't learned by now it's best just to watch from a safe distance or look the other way.

Extend that olive branch until he accepts it; it's hard to see it in the midst of insults. So even if it is genuine, he might not believe it.

I, too, used to be quite arrogant. My judgmental nature almost took me out of the Lord's good books. It wasn't until I attended a sermon that I realized: Perfection only lies with my Lord; and that my feeble mind/body could never match Him. Thanks to that enlightenment, I no longer walk the earth like a proud person, but a humble servant of the mighty Lord.
