Isn't this thread supposed to be about "lesser known" games :wtf:
Going off of page 7 alone, well known games that you guys are saying were not

Gunsmoke on NES was not this lesser known game, it was a big deal at the time
Cool Spot had major marketing behind it
Mystical Ninja wasn't little known
Bubble Bobble is a HUGE FRANCHISE
Lardass said South Park :wtf:
King of Monsters wasn't little known either
@LucaBrasi mentioned Skies of Arcadia which was a big deal on the Dreamcast
But in the "console war" sony gamers felt they was too good for a Dreamcast
So I wouldn't be surprised if tons of ppl missed out on that game
I head the gamecube version was altered. Some of the dialogue was changed because it was NINTENDO
And the games difficulty was dropped on N64.

That is possibly my favorite RPG of all time. Best looking imo

I know the Dreamcast version was a big deal but I honestly have never heard anybody outside of me and my friend who used to play it at my house mention the Gamecube version EVER so :yeshrug:

Still one of my GOAT games :blessed:

Skies of Arcadia is a Sega game, made for the Dreamcast

The dreamcast only lasted 2yrs because "fanboys" felt that the Dreamcast wouldn't be as powerful as the PS2 and didn't buy it
This is fact. Did you not know why the Dreamcast died off?
It was hated on hardcore by sony fans. They didn't buy it. Now everyone wanna act like they was fans of dreamcast :wtf:
And since I was working at a videogame store at the time, I know for a fact that what I'm saying is 100% accurate

Since it only lasted 2yrs, and never made it to sony (to my knowledge)
It can be considered a lesser known game to those who were too cool for dreamcast
@LucaBrasi was saying how it wasn't as well known on Gamecube. But thats not what constitutes if a game is lesser KNOWN of
Because the gamecube come way after the dreamcast died. Like 2yrs later
The game wasn't a launch title. It hit the gamecube like 3/4yrs after it first dropped on Dreamcast so its not fair to penalize it

nikka shut the fukk up. I'm explaning why Skies of Arcadia is a lesser known game
Because the Dreamcast failed
Why the dreamcast fail?

The same dumbshyt you dudes do on the daily here, actually HATE on good games.
The dreamcast in a short time released so many classics its insane
How could a system like that fail? fukkin fanboys
So fantastic games like Skies of Arcadia are virtually unknown by the majority

Tech Romancer, not enough "hipster nerd fanboys" c/s enough for that game to even be on a radar (real gamers like "go head Cdog")

ChuChu Rocket was simplistic but awesome at the time

I fed dat nikka Seaman daily. Still got the VCU I used to store him :whew:

Cannon Spike you nikkaz don't know about
Whichu know about Confidential Mission, Or Dynamite Cop, or D2, GRANDIA 2 :manny: All the fighting games, the shootem ups.
shyt, even the popular games like Shenmue. All you read on this bytch are ppl going "I never played Shenmue 2"
You know why that is? Because FANBOYS killed off the dreamcast.

So I was answering his question correctly. The fact I said SONY (which was the reason) has you acting like a bytch. Sony ain't yo daddy muhfukka :stop:

People bringing up games that sold millions and millions of copies and received critical acclaim :rudy:

Now...

Einhander on the PSone...classic game by square made in 1997. Game got lost because they dropped FF7 shortly after. I loved that game.

Dark Sector - Was shown off as to what the PS3/XBOX 360 could potentially pull off graphically. Game was underwhelming to people

ICO - Initially it was overlooked, but now has a cult following. I am not sure what else to say about this game...worth playing for sure.

No One Lives Forever (PC Version) - I think some people played this on the PS2, but the PC version was so much better. It still sold a good amount of copies throughout the years, but probably overlooked by the console crowd as it got bad reviews when compared to the PC version.

Dead to Rights (XBOX) - Game was hard as shyt on the OG XBOX...seriously, anyone who played that shyt will remember...:wtf: was up with the difficulty. Even when released on other platforms...the harder difficulties on those was not even harder than what it was on the OG XBOX on NORMAL :wtf:

Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles for the PSone and Dreamcast...fukk the critics. I liked that game.

Hitman: Codename 47 - Game was a technical mess, but introduced ragdoll effects in video games..obviously a well known franchise now. Game was difficult as well.

HBO Boxing - Face Buttons were mapped out in where each one represented a different punch. A little too complicated for people, but I thought it was good.

Indigo Prophecy - The first heavy rain basically

Ikaruga - Was relatively unknown because it was released on the dreamcast...great game though.

Fatal Frame (Wii) - Only released in Japan...good game.

MDK and MDK2 - The first one had so much potential and just weird shyt going on...game was difficult from what I remember. The second game was more focused on action and easier to just run through.

KILLER 7 - great art style and WEIRD game. Really good though if you give it a chance.

XIII - Someone already mentioned it. Good art style, pretty good combat

Hotel Dusk and Last Window: The Secret of Cape West - Great art and different. Have to hold the DS vertically to play. I am getting Cape West shipped to me right now...not easy to find.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is a current one...its an alright game, but if you like anything that has to do with some detective work. You'll like it...it kept my interest more than L.A. Noire. The whole ghosts thing can be a little cheesy though.
