For government employees it's guaranteed. They passed a law that we get paid even if there is a shutdown. Contractors don't though.

I lost almost an entire paycheck in 2013. They didn't have it back then so I'm glad they have this law now.

If you’re black and a government employee…god be with you. The department of efficiency is putting a bullseye on your back first.

Especially black women. There are a lot in senior positions.
