Comedians have always done this.. It's almost like rap. You know how you keep hearing the same punchline over and over again... You think every single rapper thought they were the first to come with "Ugly like Sam Cassell" or some other corny overused line...

We saw DL Hughley do fukking Bebe's Kids.. "Ever come to the house late and the kids up.. You trying to get them to go to sleep.. Kain Carter aka hotdamnirock. At least he tried to not rip him off verbatim and paraphrased him... but Patrice’s unique delivery made it hard for him to plagiarize.

He made so some sucker apology saying he was “inspired” by him. Then dude had some personal tragedies and disappeared for a long time. I think he had health issues too.

He’s back now but I don’t know anyone who’s really checking for him like they did in the day.
