yeah.. lets not act like Hayden got shafted by shytty writing. Anakin had some stale lines at times but overall he could've been a really fukking cool/complex character. He should've been iconic. Plenty of actors could've killed that role despite some stale lines at times. Hayden is literally fukking AWKWARD to watch act. Like cringeworthy awkward.

didnt think he was all that bad. just the whipping boy for a bunch of diehard disgruntled fans. portman and neason both went on to say the movies almost ruined them. granted im not the biggest star wars fan but much of the dialogue is just silly. theres only so much u can do.

While watching TFA i felt like the way adam driver was acting is the way they wanted anakin to be....heard so many rumors at the time of casting, like ryan phillpe (sp?) but lucas wanted an unknown according to rumor....

too american, needs to be stressed that vader (JEJ) spoke with a proper accent. i needed someone i can actually envision under that mask. all due respect to francGOAT but it's not his face or his voice i envision beneath the mask.

I remember in the late 90s, early 00s' there were rumblings of him playing Anakin. I had always wondered if there was any truth to it. I also remember that crazy rumor of an NSYNC cameo happening in Episode 2.
