Yeah, cable is a waste of money, I cancelled it in 2005. My sister took my tv.

i'll still wanna call you a coli millionaire. but i do understand why you wouldn't wanna watch tv. i remember a coli thread in the gaming/electronic subforum about a dude not having cable there. that thread convinced me to cancel it after i said tv is a waste of time

I stream everything, I go way back to the days of Filefront. At worst, I gotta wait a few hours. I have a decent HD computer monitor...between working and trying to get a couple things going in Miami, I only need the simple pleasures in life.
I am suprised because I got a friend who works at the CVS pharmacy and he makes like $13/hr
the thing with tv is that it's mostly filth and distraction on it. so for me it'd be pointless to hunt down the same filth i don't like.
i don't have enough time to myself by default and i get so much sh1t done having done away with tv. sohh/coli are a distraction too i dont even know why i came back to this nonsense.
it'd talk more about what i do but it's already too popular on anotehr site and i'd rather keep the 2 sites seperate.

I feel if anyone is savvy enough, they should not be paying out the nose for content they can get for cheaper.
at $58/hr that shouldn't be your problem if you really want to watch that sh1t..

I watch anything I want, though. I would be wasting money.
Also, I have DSL and a basic phone, so I don't over pay by $3,000 a year on cable, cell phone, internet. I'm not cheap or frugal, but I mostly spend money on simple means.

When me and my friend were talking about all this raising the minimum wage hoopla I said someone should figure out a way to compute a living wage by state/county/whatever then that place should have to raise its minimum wage to a living wage. glad to see someone did just that.
We still need people to figure out how to properly address and fix income inequality..
