Seems like once you have that first child you better be making that money or you are screwed. Also, the minimum wage doesn't even cover basic living standards for a single person with no kids. I guess that shouldn't be a surprise.

It said the living wage for someone with one kid, where I live is 50k :wow:

I don't how people do it. :mindblown:

Even with dual incomes some families barely even clear 50k.

I'm in Louisiana. Me and my wife both make much more than the living wage for 2 adults and no kids. :obama: Then again I do live in Louisiana:snoop:

Based on this, I'd just barely be able to support two kids solo, or three if I was married and the wife could watch kids during the day (meaning I didn't have to pay for daycare/babysitter).

Childcare is no joke....$1,038/mo for daycare for three kids? :damn:

Still single and childless tho. :whew:
