Series is almost over tho...
You aren't wrong and I don't blame you for openly talking about it. Just letting you know I spoiler tagged your post in case you came in here later like

Bruh Marvel has never made shyt on the level of Legion
Of the Marvel shows the only one that was somewhat consistent was Daredevil
And even that shyt had filler and ran too long
You ain’t sure but I am
There’s no comparison
I appreciate good writing and directing
No fukking comparison
You just read a couple of brehs above said they could only watch 5-6 eps or wasn’t feeling S2.
Just cuz it’s different and experimental don’t by default make it great. This show isn’t consistent either.
There is some hit and miss with it, sometimes it outsmarts itself or tries too much and too hard. One of the best things about this show is it only has 8 or 11 eps per season as its one of them shows after the season ends you get the feeling of “it was dope, but glad it was over”
Vs other shows where you’re longing for a longer season or more eps
I’m not saying it’s a bad show, but it’s not the best. It has its lane, but if I wanted to provide a better example of weird edgey shows that’s consistent and had really good writing and directing.... then Mr. Robot

ManI would put season 1 of "Legion" over any of the Netflix shows. Season 2 I didn't like nearly as much.
I wouldn't put too much thought into people checking out half way through the season....as Chris Claremont said, the show perfectly captures the character. It was never going to be a mainstream show. It's way too abstract. But I'd also say people are cheating themselves by not finishing the season, as literally everything that seems random or weird for the sake of being weird is addressed in the last 2 episodes.
Season 2 went off the rails towards the end. There was another major series Noah Hawley compared "Legion" to (character arc-wise I mean) which I can't say because it would spoil season 2 of "Legion"....but they tried too hard to make that comparison fit. I'm glad season 3 is the last one because Hawley has too much on his plate right now, something is bound to suffer.

Legends of Tomorrow is CW soap opera trashLegion def better than the netflix marvelverse but season 2 was disappointing. Legends of Tomorrow holds that crown now and iZombie has been consistently good as well.
It ain't better than preacher
