Some of this has to just be the FBI being fanboys/ fangirls, using their power to stalk and find out details of their favorite celebrities

Agent-"Sir,you dont understand the threat here with all due respect"

FBI director-"I really dont see it,she appears to just be a singer:patrice:"

Agent-"Just a singer?! Shes a singer,dancer,actress,triple threat!:damn:"

FBI director-"Im sorry, Im just going to need more in this report to authorize you to do surveilance on Mya. Saying her baby hair could unite a nation and start an uprising,is just too vague. Now that Taylor Swift? Thats who we need to be focused on:ufdup:"

Above the fray.
Good post @KingOFKings

Celebs have visibility, influence, and the ability to make money. Attaching themselves or their resources to an issue or organization can have a big effect. Especially once that celeb draws a mainstream audience. The mainstream crossed over to her at the height of her career.

Ms. Franklin also had ties with prominent Black clergy around Detroit and the country because of her family. They were the clear leaders in the communities back then.

And people think it’s out the realm they had it out for Pac
I wouldn't be surprised. It's really telling that they still aren't in any rush to find out who killed him over 20 years later. Dude was gunned down in the wide open, IN PUBLIC, but they're still conveniently calling it an "unsolved" case :mjpls:
If that were Bruce Springstein or Garth Brooks out there getting turned into swiss cheese like an OCP boardroom executive during the ED 209 demonstration, they would have BEEN found the perpetrators by now.

"First ship 'em dope and let 'em deal to brothers
Give 'em guns, step back, watch 'em kill each other
"

"And still I see no changes, can't a brother get a little peace?
It's war on the streets and the war in the Middle East (Ooh, yeah)
Instead of war on poverty
They got a war on drugs so the police can bother me
"

Pac's message was too powerful. The dominant society was scared of him.

You know the powers that be had a bone to pick with MJ, too. We're talking about a black artist (who had previously swept) the '84 Grammys and owned the Beatles catalogue + half of Sony's publishing ) who was dropping gems like this:

"Speculate to break the one you hate
Circulate the lie you confiscate
Assassinate and mutilate
As the hounding media in hysteria
Who's the next for you to resurrect
JFK exposed the CIA
Truth be told the grassy knoll
As the blackmail story in all your glory
"

"In the hood
Frame him if you could
Shoot to kill
To blame him if you will
If he dies sympathize

Such false witnesses
Damn self righteousness
In the black
Stab me in the back
In the face
To lie and shame the race

Heroine and Marilyn
As the headline stories of
All your glory"

Michael saw through the government's hypocrisy, and he knew that the MSM was using him as a scapegoat to keep folks from thinking TOO much about what was really happening. :mjpls:
