Realest shyt ever when he talked about MCs/Rappers and making music. Best lyricists in the world ain't making good music, and even back in the day there were artists with that same issue. People don't just talk about Rakim, Kane, Slick Rick, etc. for their lyrics alone... they had those songs. There were rappers much better lyrically than Slick Rick but they didn't have a "Children's Story"... rappers much better than EPMD but they didn't have a "You Gots To Chill"... lotta nice-ass lyricists who coulda been right up there with the greats, if only they had those classic records. Clark knows his shyt.
