It's fine for what it is, but definitely not what we really wanted from a new Rakim album, with few verses from him and mostly hooks. Supposedly he had an actual album in the works but I don't know for sure.

I can’t believe we gonna get a new Slick Rick album, been waiting on this for like 25 years man 
He was on the Set The Tone album so maybe not EPing but perhaps a beat or two. Hopefully Ghost got the pre-crazy Klan hoodie Kanye production.

Slick Rick info is from a dude on Reddit called Exact_Contribution54 that's been dead on with intel on multiple Nas projects the past few years.
He mentioned the Legend Has It campaign and the artists involved like a month before anything was announced. Including the titles for Rae and Ghost albums. He was right about everything except that the Slick Rick album would be dropping today.
@Awesome Wells also mentioned a few months back that Rick had been working on a new album for a while and I believe Large Pro is involved
