Perhaps he is. But I just don’t get it. I would’ve never had on my bingo card, Harden and Maxey going off in game 1, in Boston, with no Embiid, on a defensive filled backcourt like Boston, for a game 1 win. Either way, I’ll take it. I like the drama and parity.

Horford is another year older and Rob isn't the same after the injury. Both of them were integral to their defense last season.

They're just not the same on that end of the floor anymore. A coach isn't fixing that.

Regardless of that, it's only one game. Adjustments will be made and the law of averages will likely hit Harden in the next game.
