The thing is if I'm Sixer management, I wouldn't bring Harden back
this whole Harden-Embiid era has amounted to nothing, yeah they'll be a top 3/4 team in the East and win around 50+ games but will constantly lose in the second round or first round at worst.
The problem is tho, you let Harden walk, who else is Embiid gonna play with? Philly isn't exactly an attractive city for big free agents and/or decent quality role players so virtually the man will be alone. Maxey is good but not that great on some superstar shyt to be a reliable second option.
I wouldn't be surprised if Embiid one days just requests a trade or management trading him, not because they don't believe in him but because clearly they're not ever going to win so might as well rebuild and send Joel somewhere to succeed while still in his prime..
An act beneficial for both parties instead of wasting time because currently constructed, they're never going to get past the Boston Celtics or Milwaukee Bucks when it matters because those teams are better than them.
Philly just doesn't have a roster good enough to be them, hell I don't think they can beat the Miami Heat either.
