Boston prepared their defensive strategy for this series with Embiid in mind but he’s injured and the Sixers offense adjusted to embiid’s absence. More emphasis on open long mid range jumpers, breakout/transition offense and 3 point shooting. Trying to get space, time and open room to shoot from the perimeter/wings. Philly Sixers can’t bully the paint, can’t get offensive rebounding and second scoring opportunities in the paint, struggle to score in the paint and struggle to defend the paint-a big part of this is because mvp big centerman Joel Embiid ain’t playing.
