First Take, I cant speak for other media outlets, but First Take in 2010 was spending almost as much attention on where LeBron is going with just as much coverage on a Lakers vs Celtics finals.
Bron becoming the "villain" AFTER Tebow was making ESPN a cash cow so much so they started the Heat Index on ESPN.com track all the stories centering around LeBron and the Heat.

Only in recent years have you had guys like Perkins, Wright, and Shannon to balance it out but the number of people that made a living hating on Bron far exceeds the opposite.
