Let's be reality. Is Bronny great player? Of course not. Can he develop into a depth player, who knows? He's a 55th pick. Those guys are fringe guys anyway and it would be intellectually dishonest to make it seem as he is miles away from the other picks in this draft.

But Stephen A Smiths criticisms were becoming personal attacks on LeBron as person and father when neither are warranted.

For all the brehs saying Bron is right to confront SA for insinuating he's a bad father, I can respect and understand that take. If true, Bron had every right to feel need to needed to address him directly. But the real question is do u believe how he has guided Bronny so far equates to good parenting? Laughing and saying his son is better than actual NBA players is good parenting in yall eyes? Especially given how big a star Bron is and the scrutiny his son would obviously be under. Forcing that opening night moment to buttress your own legacy is good parenting? fukk outta here. Two things can be true. Bron was right to address SA and SA was 100% right about everything he said about Bron being a bad father.
Im a Bron fan but I agree.

I'm not a stan so no need to be biased....

Bron has to take some of the responsibility for PUSHING the Bronny thing the way he did.

Bron is coming off extremely lacking in self awareness if he can't see his part in all this.

LeBron son is trash and we supposed to be mad at Stephen A for speaking on it. What has Stephen A said that nobody else has said? I’m confused.
Nah breh discussing Bron while showing Bronny playing bad is some sucker shyt.

Especially since the topic had nothing to do with Bronny. He deserved to get pressed

What push did he do?

His son wants this. Every kid that plays basketball and loves it wants this

Has he criticized Bronny outside of the realm of basketball?
He came at LeBron as a father. That is beyond basketball. Call out Bronny missing a jump shot all you want. But don’t tell me what I should do as a father with my son. I wish someone would tell me what I need to do as a father with my son or daughter.

Nah that’s not what happened. He criticized Bron after Bronny had started to play well in the G league and at practice, so JJ put him in a real game after injuries and he didn’t look ready

SAS went on TV and had a whole segment about how LeBron is essentially a bad father and he needs to stop

All this for a 2nd round 55th pick ROOKIE who had been playing well in the G league but isn’t ready for real NBA min. He tried to then turn Melo and his kid into a “see Lebron this is how you need to raise your son!”

Playing DA, someone Stephen A's age/era that was a professional all had similar viewpoint on their kids. There are numerous stories about the parent pro telling their kids they aren't ready, no matter how good they got, until the moment they realized the elevation for the pro game, THEN told them they are ready. The OG pros also used to do this to all of the other kids they were watching and mentoring. This is essentially, the opposite of that.

In sports, you can't have it both ways though. You can't use your status to get an unqualified kid in the league, then get mad at the magnified scrutiny as a result of your status. You signed up and volunteered your kid for all of this.

That dude told a dad dont praise his own son in public:dahell:

Lebron hatred is unreal

Its only 2 other black men on the level of unnecessary hate he get
You nikkas in here moving goalpost just because it's Lebron.

There's a difference between supporting your son and that delusional shyt Lebron was on with that tweet. Being around the game as long as he has he should've known Bronny wasn't that level of player. Being the ego maniac Lebron is though he couldn't help himself.
