Is the gap between G-league and NBA that big where he can ve very good in one and be completely infeffective in the other?

Seems like G-league is useless in development. Even college players who dominate are able to compete in the nba

Stephen A is like i signed 125 mil deal bro i ain't wasting my time beefing with this brolic HGH muthafukka.

Smart for him to take the diplomatic approach... but if i am KD i gotta lean him out he is obviously fears Lebron more than he does KD. because this response was QUITE different from how he goes at KD.
There's always the off chance Bron would steal off on him. Add another 7 figure bag to that new deal :manny:

Nobody’s hands are clean here. :manny:

Bron has selfishly manipulate his sons career trajectory.

SAS could be seen as crossing the line with some of his critiques.

It is what it is. :manny:

This all falls into the bigger conversation of LeBron’s circle constantly needing to control the narrative regarding everything he does, and will attempt to punish, blackball, gatekeep, phase out, etc. the opposition if they don’t get in line. SAS never bent the knee, but he’s also too big a name to get out the paint. So it’s always been some power struggle type shyt between em.

NBA is such a drama filled league man :dead:

That must've been humiliating for SAS... Getting barked on by the biggest star in the world right next to Jimmy Iovine, Larry David and probably most powerful guy in Hollywood Ari Manuel

If I had to bet, this what probably drove Bron to press SAS in that moment the most. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to embarrass him in front of big time industry cacs who haven’t followed the events that lead there.

It’s very unlikely he steps to SAS sittin with one of his daughters, his nephew, Shannon, some ESPN staffer, etc.

The gap between pro athlete at the highest level and the rest of us, even G-league level athletes, is massive. It’s athletic ability and confidence and skill and processing speed. A lot of us probably could have gone D1 with ball if we really focused as kids. Almost none of us could have played in the NBA no matter how hard we worked or how well we were coached. Theres levels to this shyt.

Bronny can play basketball, just not at the NBA level. And it’s easy to say he’s too small or he can’t shoot/dribble well enough, which isn’t untrue, but the bigger issue is he doesn’t have the confidence or the processing speed for that level.

Parents tend to be delusional about their children

I’m sure the parents of the 15th man on every team think he’s better than some of the players playing in front of them

You can feel a way about nepotism but I don’t think Bron having irrational belief in Bronny is a bad thing, that’s his kid

Giving your kid confidence is always good parenting. Dudes(not you) don’t even have dads to tell them good job, this is a beautiful thing.
As a father of three, I'm all for instilling confidence in my kids. The same holds true for plenty of parents. I guess my issue is why do u need to disparage others in order to do so. No matter how bad those anonymous players are whom Bron passively aggressive referenced, they all earned a spot on a NBA roster. That in itself is a million to one opportunity. When your kid finally makes it to the league on the strength his daddy, who is an all-time great basketball player and shows he clearly isn't ready, you need to be prepared to own the backlash. I can easily imagine Bron sipping on some wine and kekeing when he posted that. That's ho shyt in my humble opinion and I can't respect that. That being said, maybe I misspoke in saying he's a bad dad. I'm sure he loves and suppports all his kids. It was a poor decision though.
